Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Whisk it smooth

Pour the protein shake into a large bowl and whisk in the pudding mix and peanut butter powder until completely smooth, with no dry pockets of powder left. If you do not have a premade shake, whisk 1¾ cups low fat chocolate milk or chocolate almond milk with 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder instead, then add the pudding mix and peanut butter powder the same way.

  2. Freeze the pint

Pour the mixture into an empty CREAMi Swirl pint, put the storage lid on, and freeze for 24 hours on a level surface.

  3. Process on Creamifit

Take the pint out of the freezer and remove the storage lid, then set the pint up in the machine. Select SCOOP, then select CREAMIFIT.

  4. Serve it thick

Scoop and serve immediately. Add mix ins if you like, or enjoy it straight from the pint.

Where the calories live

The chocolate protein shake brings the biggest share of the calories here, about 62 percent of the batch, with the peanut butter powder next in line.

The protein story

Each serving carries 11 grams of protein, which makes this scoop work a little harder than dessert usually does.

Want a lighter scoop

A half serving with fresh fruit on the side keeps all the flavor and halves everything on this panel.

Frequently asked questions

Why the pudding mix?

A spoonful of instant pudding mix gives a lean protein base the body it would otherwise miss. Protein shakes freeze hard and a little icy on their own, and the pudding mix helps the pint spin up thick instead of crumbly.

Can I use a different flavor of shake?

Yes. Vanilla and coffee shakes both work with the same method. Keep the peanut butter powder for the chocolate peanut butter result, or leave it out and let the shake flavor lead.

How do I store leftovers?

Smooth the top flat with a spoon, put the storage lid back on, and return the pint to the freezer on a level surface. Before serving again, set the pint up in the machine and run SCOOP and then CREAMIFIT once more.

Can I add mix ins?

Yes. Chopped peanuts, mini chocolate chips, or a swirl of peanut butter all fold in well after processing. Add them once the pint has spun, so they stay in pieces instead of disappearing into the base.

What if the pint looks crumbly, and can I serve it soft serve style?

A very cold freezer can leave this pint looking crumbly after the first pass. Select RESPIN and let it process a little more until it turns smooth. For soft serve instead of scoops, set the pint up the same way and select SOFT SERVE, then CREAMIFIT, and dispense it straight into a bowl or a cone. Either way, the pint is best within about 2 weeks.
