Margarita mix frozen in a Deluxe pint, then loosened at spin time with a pour in of gold tequila and water. A bar style frozen margarita from the freezer.
A proper bar style frozen margarita with your freezer doing the work; it comes out bright, frosty, and slushy soft, with the tequila poured in at spin time so the flavour stays lively. It suits taco Tuesdays, patio sunsets, and anyone who likes their margarita cold enough to numb the lips.
A few simple ingredients for a big, delicious idea.
Pour the water and margarita mix into an empty Deluxe pint up to the drinkable fill line and stir to combine.
Place the storage lid on the Deluxe pint and freeze for 24 hours.
Take the Deluxe pint out of the freezer and remove the storage lid. Add the pour in ingredients, equal parts water and gold tequila, up to the max fill line, then set the pint up in the machine.
Select FULL, then use the dial to select FROZEN DRINK and let the program turn the frozen base into a pourable margarita.
When processing is complete, transfer the margarita to a glass and serve immediately.

The pour is part of the flavor and part of the math: about 45 percent of the calories in every glass come from the alcohol itself.
A half serving with fresh fruit on the side keeps all the flavor and halves everything on this panel.

Use water or juice for the pour in instead of the tequila mixture. The frozen base stays the same and the drink still pours like a slush.
If you prefer a more sippable frozen drink, add 2 to 4 additional tablespoons of your pour in after processing, then select respin.
Break up the sides with a spoon and select respin. The second pass smooths the icy outer wall back into the drink.
Alcohol does not freeze solid, so it goes in as the pour in after the base has frozen. That keeps the pint firm in the freezer and the finished drink perfectly slushy.
