Instructions

  1. Combine the batch

In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients until smooth. The amounts above make the middle batch, for 4 to 6 servings. For 2 to 3 servings, use 1½ cups whole milk, ½ cup peanut butter whiskey, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ¼ cup chocolate syrup, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, and 1 tablespoon peanut butter powder. For 6 to 8 servings, use 3⅓ cups whole milk, 1¼ cups peanut butter whiskey, 2⅓ cups heavy cream, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, ⅔ cup chocolate syrup, ¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, and ¼ cup peanut butter powder.

  2. Chill the mixture

For best results, chill the liquid before adding it to the unit. Cold ingredients freeze into a smoother shake.

Pour the mixture into the vessel.

  4. Select SPIKED SLUSH

Select SPIKED SLUSH. The preset starts at the default temperature for ideal texture. For your ideal texture, use the Temperature Control setting to adjust.

Once the frozen drink reaches the right temperature, the unit will beep three times. Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and peanut butter sauce, and serve immediately.

Where the calories live

The heavy cream brings the biggest share of the calories here, about 52 percent of the batch, with the peanut butter whiskey next in line.

The protein story

Each serving carries 10 grams of protein, which makes this scoop work a little harder than dessert usually does.

Want a lighter scoop

Swap half the heavy cream for whole milk. The spin stays creamy and every serving lands noticeably lighter.

Frequently asked questions

What are the three batch sizes?

For 2 to 3 servings: 1½ cups whole milk, ½ cup peanut butter whiskey, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ¼ cup chocolate syrup, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, and 1 tablespoon peanut butter powder. For 4 to 6 servings: 3 cups milk, 1 cup whiskey, 2 cups cream, 2 teaspoons vanilla, ½ cup chocolate syrup, 3 tablespoons cocoa, and 2 tablespoons peanut butter powder. For 6 to 8 servings: 3⅓ cups milk, 1¼ cups whiskey, 2⅓ cups cream, 1 tablespoon vanilla, ⅔ cup chocolate syrup, ¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon cocoa, and ¼ cup peanut butter powder.

What does the peanut butter whiskey add?

A warm, nutty sweetness that leans into the chocolate and peanut butter instead of tasting like a plain spiked shake. The milkshake base keeps it smooth and dessert like.

Can I leave the whiskey out?

You can. Swap the whiskey for the same amount of whole milk and a spoonful more peanut butter powder, and run the MILKSHAKE preset instead for an alcohol free version.

Why chill everything first?

Cold liquid freezes faster and more evenly in the vessel, which gives a thicker shake and a shorter wait.
